Vrede en Lust Early Mist Riesling 2022

The Early Mist Riesling 2018 by Vrede en Lust is produced in a typical German Kabinet style. The fermentation process was stopped at the desired sugar levels producing an elegant, off-dry wine.

The Early Mist Riesling is elegantly styled and perfumed with notes of honey, minerals and lingering citrus fruits. This Riesling pairs well with both hot or cold salmon dishes, as well as smoked trout. 

The Vrede en Lust Estate story begins in 1688. The 35-hectare farm is situated against the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, between 150 and 280 meters above sea level. The diverse soils are planted with mostly red varietals. The team is passionate about being environmentally friendly and using sustainable solar energy.
