The Mont Rochelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 is classic in style with a lovely tannin structure and undertones of eucalyptus, cassis and blackcurrants. The palate on this Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect balance of opulent fruit and acidity.
The Mont Rochelle Cabernet Sauvignon is ruby red in colour with a youthful purple hue and a display of intense black fruits.
The Month Rochelle Mountain Vinyard cultivates and nurtures grapes between 250 and 400 meters above sea level exposing the grapes to a unique micro-climate. The cool air from the South Easter wind brings cool air over the vineyards allowing for a longer ripening period.

The grounds at Mont Rochelle cover 39 hectares (about 100 acres) and you’re welcome to go exploring. A favourite activity for many of our guests is picnicking on the estate – our kitchen can arrange a well-stocked picnic basket with a chilled bottle of wine (or two!). There are two restaurants, a cosy bar, a spa, a gym and a heated outdoor pool. That’s not forgetting a 37 hectare vineyard and wine cellar of course!
