The Lynx Shiraz 2018 is smooth and slightly less spiced than would be expected from a new world Shiraz. The wine has smooth tannins with a long finish that leaves you wanting more.
This Shiraz has an aroma of blackcurrant and almonds that ends in a rounded undertone of cigar box. The Lynx Shiraz is spicy with white pepper and liquorice.
Lynx is located at the foothills of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains; the team is passionate, authentic and different in their journey to distinguish themselves as a producer of origin-oriented wines.

Lynx Wine Estate is a small boutique cellar in the Wemmershoek Valley of Franschhoek. We make our wines using more traditional winemaking methods. All of our red wines are fermented in open concrete tanks and punched down 5 times a day. This leads to smooth elegant red wines. We offer every person visiting our Estate a chance to see how we make our wines. We’ve recently opened our Guesthouse on the Estate and is also planning on opening a bistro within the year on the property.
