Attractive and expressive on nose and palate with lime, pineapple and gooseberry. Well balanced with an integrated acid, good structure, palate depth and texture. Long finishing with citric freshness.
Knorhoek used to be one large farm, consisting of both Quoin Rock (their sister wine farm) and Knorhoek land. In 1998, the previous owners subdivided Knorhoek and sold the portion now known as Quoin Rock. In 2012, the Gaiduk family bought Quoin Rock from its previous owner and acquired Knorhoek in 2018. Winemaker Schalk Opperman now makes both the Knorhoek and Quoin Rock wines, and Nico Walters heads up the vineyards at both wine farms.
