De Grendel Viognier 2022

The De Grendel Viognier 2019 is most loved for its perfumed aroma of tangerine, mango, ripe peaches and honeysuckle. This Viognier pairs perfectly with aromatic dishes prepared with ginger, saffron and coconut.

This Viognier is pale lemon in colour with a clear and bright reflection. The De Grendel Viognier surprises with a fresh but medium-bodied mouthfeel and medium acidity. The finish is creamier with flavours of vanilla and spices from the oak ageing. 

De Grendel is not just one of the oldest farms in Cape Town, it is the only vineyard in South Africa that is 350m above sea level and only seven kilometers from the ocean. The farm is a testament to the centuries-old history of the Graaff family.
