Damascene Cabernet Franc 2020

Vibrant aromas of fresh fennel, bramble, black cherries, dried violets, graphite, and hints of sweet tobacco. The wine is fragrant and evolving; leafy on the edges, conjuring up images of tomato vines in the sun, alongside camphor and campfire under starry skies.

An energetic and nervy palate is wrapped around a core of iodine, overlaid with tangy redcurrants, tart cherries, cranberries, and blackcurrants. The fresh fruit is complemented by lively acidity and an inherent vitality. There’s purity to the tannin structure, unencumbered by wood, red-fleshed and grippy, tailoring into a precise, dry finish.
