The Anwilka Petit Frère 2018 has a deep ruby colour with aromas of red berries and lightly toasted wood spice. This full-bodied red blend is made up of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
The Petit Frère initially delivers a vibrant palate that is full-bodied and concentrated. The tannins are well-balanced and the wine has a delicious dark fruit finish that lingers.
The Anwilka Petit Frère 2018 is ready to drink now but will allow for an additional eight years of maturation.
Anwilka wines pay tribute to the French heritage which is deeply ingrained in the founders. The farm later merged with Klein Constantia Estate in 2012. The Petit Frère Red Blend is the second wine to come from this renowned Stellenbosch property.
