Springfield Wine Estate is located in the Robertson Wine Valley and dates back to 1902. The diverse soils on the estate allow for a variety of cultivars to be grown. Wines are made from single vineyard blocks with mostly natural yeast to deliver wines that truly express the terroir and the characteristics of the grape varietals.
The team at Springfield Wines are passionate about showcasing the rocky, hostile and unforgiving terroir of the estate through minimal intervention and a hands-off approach to winemaking. They firmly believe good wine is grown in the vineyards and not made in the cellar.
