Silverthorn Wines is situated on the slopes of the Riviersonderend mountains, the estate was named after the Karoo’s most prolific thorn trees; Acacia. 

Silverthorn Wines produces excellent Cap Classique wines that are influenced by the terroir of rocky, lime-rich, shale soils as well as the mature Chardonnay vineyards. The wines embrace old-world European heritage and knowledge and the contemporary African environment and culture.
