Blaauwklippen was founded in 1682 and is one of the oldest wine farms in Stellenbosch. The farm is steeped in rich history and winemaking tradition. Blaauwklippen planted South Africa’s first Zinfandel grapevines in 1977 and is currently one of only three producers in the country.
Blaauwklippen is rooted in rich fertile soil at the foothills of the Stellenbosch mountains. Half of the 100-hectare farm is covered in mountainous fynbos. The wines have distinct harmony with the simplicity of country living.
