With the Easter weekend behind us we start seeing the long warm days of summer slowly coming to an end and autumn easing in. Most of the grapes have been harvested and the vineyards are now taking a break and expect to see a trickle of 2023 vintage wines on our shelves shortly!

Looking for an older or sold out wine?
We opened our two stores over two decades ago and as a result have developed close relationships with many wineries and producers. We mention this in case you are perhaps looking for a wine that may no longer be available as we may be able to secure that special bottle for you.

Flavour Focus evenings at Wine Concepts Newlands

Our Flavour Focus tastings are held on a monthly basis on the last Friday of each month

Our theme for our flavour focus in April/May celebrates white wine blends and Merlot as follows:
On Friday 28^th April from 4.00pm – 7.00pm we will have a selection of white wine blends and Merlot from:
Zorgvliet, Hidden Valley, Kusafiri, Bruce Jack, Plaisir de Merle, Ormonde and Strandveld.

And on Wednesday 3^rd May from 4.00pm – 7.00pm we will have wines from Daschbosch, La Vierge, Kayelitsha, Anysbos, Wildeberg and Vondeling.

There is no charge so come and enjoy a tasting or two before you buy a few bottles to take home with you (If you purchase on the evening you will stand a chance to win a selected pack of the products tasted). Congratulations to our recent winner, Kim Bassinger.
