Last Sunday lovers of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir enjoyed our first post pandemic Celebration held at The Vineyard Hotel which proved once again that we have the right formula for successful wine events! We would like to thank all of you who attended and also the participating wine farms for showing their finest Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays on the day. In our November edition we will have some pictorial feedback on the day.

Looking for an older or sold out wine?
We opened our two stores over two decades ago and as a result have developed close relationships with many wineries and producers. We mention this in case you are perhaps looking for a wine that may no longer be available as we may be able to secure that special bottle for you.
Limited releases
Arriving on our shelves are the new vintage releases from several of the smaller producers such as Van Loggerenberg, Sadie Family Wines, Alheit, Crystallum and David & Nadia amongst others.

Our fortnightly wine mailer called Wine Gems invites you every fortnight to discover a selection of wines from 2 estates available from our online store.

Flavour Focus evenings at Wine Concepts Newlands
Our Flavour Focus tastings are held on a monthly basis on the first Wednesday and last Friday of each month.
Our theme for our flavour focus in October is on focus on Organic wines
On Friday 28th October from 4.00pm – 7.00pm we will have wines from Sophie Germanier, Nativo, Org de Rac and Waverley Hills.
Our theme for our flavour focus in November is on Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.
On Wednesday 2nd November from 4.00pm – 8.00pm we will have wines from Webersburg, Fryers Cove, Bellingham, Ridgeback, Van Loveren and Saxenburg
There is no charge so come and enjoy a tasting or two before you buy a few bottles to take home with you (If you purchase on the evening you will stand a chance to win a selected pack of the products tasted). Congratulations to our recent winner, Warren Driscoll.
