Guests will be treated to a fine selection of charming Chardonnay’s and praise- worthy Pinot Noir’s! This popular celebration gives wine lovers of these two noble varietals the opportunity to taste over 100 wines produced from 30 of the Capes’s premium wineries.
Along with this the hotel will be celebrating International Garden Day and will offer attendee’s an opportunity to explore their gardens and learn about the different plants and trees with information available on each species.
Delicious snacks that complement the styles of wine will be prepared by The Vineyard Hotel team and served throughout the duration of the Celebration.
All the showcased wines will be available for purchase at discounted prices from Wine Concepts on the day.

Looking for an older or sold out wine?
We opened our two stores over two decades ago and as a result have developed close relationships with many wineries and producers. We mention this in case you are perhaps looking for a wine that may no longer be available as we may be able to secure that special bottle for you.
Limited releases
Arriving on our shelves are the new vintage releases from several of the smaller producers such as Van Loggerenberg, Sadie Family Wines, Alheit, Crystallum and David & Nadia amongst others.

Flavour Focus evening for August at Wine Concepts Newlands
Our Flavour Focus tastings are held on a monthly basis on the first Wednesday and last Friday of each month.
Our theme for our flavour focus in September is on Rose and unusual reds.
On Friday 30th September from 4.00pm – 7.00pm we will have wines from Hillcrest, Doolhof, Foothills and Glen Carlou.
Our theme for our flavour focus in October is on Shiraz.
On Wednesday 5th October from 4.00pm – 7.00pm we will have wines from Andreas, Raka, Hermanuspietersfontein, Lomond and Migliarina.
There is no charge so come and enjoy a tasting or two before you buy a few bottles to take home with you (If you purchase on the evening you will stand a chance to win a selected pack of the products tasted). Congratulations to our recent winner, Timoretta Gray.
