March 2022

The 2022 harvest has been interesting and relatively unpredictable in most areas despite most soil moisture conditions being a lot better. The excellent rains we received in 2021 kept our dams relatively full all helping with irrigation management. The weather during harvest season, which started early January, has seen cooler picking conditions with higher yields and reports of excellent quality fruit which bodes for a good vintage overall!

And of course we have an interesting line up of new wines in our stores, along with our daily tastings from well-known and newer estates. Please visit our website www.wineconcepts.co.za for details on our tastings at both our Newlands and Kloof Street stores.

Please note that we have been advised by our suppliers and farms that the usual annual increases will be effective from the 1st March.
