Wine Concepts has become one of the best boutique wine merchants in Cape Town. As such we enjoy the support of our suppliers to promote these fine and somewhat different wines.
Located in the trendy Lifestyle Centre in Kloof Street, this shop is our first franchise store and owned by enthusiastic husband and wife team, Neil and Sue Proudfoot. Sue is in attendance daily and provides her personal attention to her growing client base. 
They stock a full range of whisky in addition to their extensive wine selection. This store hosts regular tastings, with opportunities to meet the people behind the
wines.

The Ida’s White 2011 is predominantly Sauvignon Blanc (sourced from Elgin) and the rest of the blend is made up of Chardonnay, Viognier, Semillon, Roussane and Grenache Blanc which gives the overall complexity of the wine without losing drinkability and freshness. I found delicious flavours of light tropical melon with hints of apricot leading to an intense yet lengthy finish.
