December 2014

Time moves quickly when one is busy and this has been the case for our three stores in 2014. Always striving to keep our shelves stocked with intriguing wines from committed wine makers and new wineries has meant we keep on seeing our regular wine imbibers as well as welcoming new friends to the wine concepts ethos. Our festivals, both in Johannesburg and Cape Town, had record attendances this year and we thank, once again, all our participants and customers for your wonderful support. In 2015 we are looking at adding a couple of interesting new festivals as well as continuing our wine and food pairing lunches and dinners.

Now that schools have broken up and businesses are winding down for the year we will soon be on holiday! It’s the season we look forward to having that quality time with family and friends and enjoy relaxed conversation over a good bottle or two of wine!

This month Michael Olivier gives us his delicious White Christmas Ale Cake recipe and we have excellent tastings from well-known and newer estates. Please visit our for details on our daily tastings and for our Festive Season opening hours.

We have stocked up our stores with delicious wines, bubblies and gifts for the festive season and so we look forward to seeing you soon.

May we wish you all a wonderful festive season with happy holidays and best wishes for the New Year.

Gifts for the Festive Season

A good bottle of wine is always a lovely gift and our stores have an excellent selection on offer. Added to this we have a range of new wine accessories, olive oils, tapenades, hand crafted chocolates, biltong, cookery and wine books (where possible hand signed by the authors). We have Christmas hampers which can be tailor made to your requirements or select from the hampers already on display. If you can’t decide on a specific gift then we have our popular Wine Concepts Gift Vouchers available for any value.
We also offer a free wrapping service for any gifts you buy from us.
